This book is made from 54 gloves and mittens that I found on the streets in Helsinki in April and May 2022, then washed and sewn with white thread. This book is about loss because gloves and mittens are associated with human hands, but when they are lost, they cannot live their lives. All gloves and mittens are individual as people. Each glove and mitten can be tried on the hand as we try on heroes when we read an usual fiction book. The title of this handmade book and the time and place of the collection of the material tell about my feelings after February 24, 2022.
