Materials: different pieces of fabric, different buttons found on the streets, threads.

This is a book diptych — books should be taken together. One book is made of dense beige fleece, white and transparent buttons that are firmly attached to the fabric. The second book is made from various multi-colored fabrics, including delicate and thin ones, and various buttons, sometimes too heavy for the fabric. All the buttons I have found on the streets in the last 15 years. Each button symbolizes a person. One book visualizes reflections on a totalitarian world, the other on a democratic one.
